The Sales Executive Cum Customer Service is responsible for prospecting new customers and retaining old customers in his or her assigned market territory. The SCS goes to customers instead of waiting for customers to come to him or her. Uses independent judgement and exercises discretion in executing his or her duties. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality in all aspects of its nature.

The primary target customers are hotels, restaurants, and other similar hospitality providers. This position provides a base salary and commission scheme.

Essential Functions:

• Will receive requests/inquiries from customers and provides information and price quotations to customers. Answers all customers questions and resolve issues.

• Process sales orders and coordinates with other departments through completion

• Secure orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility or contacting by phone.

• Will follow up by phone or visit on quotations submitted to customers.

• Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas that allows an effective presentation.

• Establish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel

• Regularly meet sales quotas and make conscious efforts to exceed sales quotas.

• Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, and throughout the community.

• Responsible for sourcing and developing customer relationships and follow up on referrals.

• Submit weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships.

• Performs assigned duties with minimum personal supervision.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor's degree/Associates degree in Business or related field, preferred;

• Three (3) years sales experience

• Strong communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized, Good reasoning ability.

• Competent in assessing customer needs and identifying sales opportunities.

• Ability to communicate with customers, management and co-workers, both individually and in front of a group is crucial.

• Proficient in use of communication with customers, via internet. Proficient in use of spreadsheets and word processing.
