RESERVATIONS SUPERVISOR

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE

The role of the Reservations Supervisor is to manage and monitor all reservation activities in the reservation department including but not limited to: occupancy and allotment management, reservation team/organization and workflow management, quality control of our reservations, management of our reservation systems and its continuous development/updating.

RESPONSIBLITIES

- Lead and manage the reservation team to balance workload from all distribution channels and maximize productivity and conversion.

- Monitor and manage occupancy budgets and inventory, allocations and materializations across the sales channels in a forward planning

- Management of the property management and be in control that information and data are fully accurate at all times

- Manage & Oversee online sales platforms (OTA) as well as the company’s online booking platform

- Be on top of the daily processes and monitor and ensure quality response to all clients

- Continuous team training to improve the department and develop new ideas

- Responsible for accurate recording and reporting weekly and monthly

- Alert to HOD/Director pro-actively discrepancies between budget/targets/actualson a forward approach

- Identify areas for continual improvement across Reservations and cross-functional for Operation &Salestopics

- Establishes good working relationship within the department and with other departments

Work from 8.30am to 5.30 pm from Mon - Fri (44 hrs per week) and 8.30-12.30 Saturday

SKILLS

• Excellent – Written and spoken English &Vietnamese

• Very good - reservation and/or inventory management

• Very Good – Communication and interpersonal skills

• Very Good - MS Office (EXCEL, Word, Outlook)

EXPERIENCES

• Minimum3years working experience (in hospitality)in a leading role managing a reservation department

• Very good experience with PMS and OTA sales

• Experienced in the management of inventory and forward planning

• Team management

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Flexibility to work under pressure

• Ability to work under pressure and be able to work multi-tasking

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Tertiary studies in tourism Hospitality, Economics or Business preferred

• Knowledge of tourism and international service standards

• Very organized and structure.
