E-COMMERCE

  • Develop and execute Resort’s digital marketing programme (goals, tactics and actions) to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, Spa and other revenue generating departments through on-line platforms
  • Manage digital search agencies, website agencies, and liaise with IHG regional/global digital teams as necessary to ensure optimal digital performance. Manage all SEM and SEO activities
  • Ensure content for Resort’s websites, e-store and other relevant platforms is updated and reflective of Resort positioning. Work within the content management system to load offers, create landing pages and ensure websites are relevant and current
  • Review the monthly and quarterly analysis, including performance of campaigns and channels, along with return on investment statistics. Maximize and optimize the performance of all marketing channels based on these results
  • Use Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through a “test and learn” mindset

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

  • In conjunction with Communications Manager, develop publishing calendar for social media channels. Ensure messaging and targeting generate optimal results (engagement, revenue, etc.)
  • Responsible for:

o growth of social audiences

o implementation and tracking of performance

o managing sponsored post budget, schedule and results

o tracking of foreign language social channels i.e. WeChat, Weibo and work to improve performance

  • Monitoring of social content and strategy of competitors and others to determine competitive opportunities and develop/implement best practices
  • Development of new social channel activity as appropriate

TRADITIONAL MARKETING

• Manage traditional advertising and promotional opportunities, either in a lead or support role

• Manage creation of print or digital sales and marketing materials, either by in-house graphic designer or through external suppliers/vendors/printers

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or e-Commerce
  2. Service years in the field: 5
  3. Service years in assistant manager level: 2
  4. Knowledge and skills:

 Behavioural competencies

  • Team player; ability to forge solid working relationships with peers, agencies and property based personnel
  • Administrative and project management skills
  • Able to work independently, be self-motivated and proactive in identifying road blocks to project completion

 Technical skills

  • E-Commerce management
  • Project management experience; agency/vendor management experience desirable
  • Digitally savvy: understanding of SEM/SEO; quick learner in CMS systems, social media content management tools and other online tools
  • Familiarity with graphic design, terms, process
  • Strong technical skills, including superior Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to learn new platforms

 Personal capabilities

  • Fluently bilingual (English/Vietnamese) required: Speaking, reading and writing at a professional level. Additional linguistic ability a bonus

  • Knowledge and keen interest in general consumer online trends
  • International or global mind set
  • Hospitality/travel, luxury brand or retail experience an asset
