Director of Engineer

• To be able to analyze problems, formulate plans and execute, to develop budgets and etc., and necessary scheduling arrangements with a high degree of quality.
• Manage repair and maintenance projects and building improvements by effectively coordinating and planning all tasks in advance of beginning of any project.
• Utilize all possible resources which will minimize cost and maximize performance.
• Coordinate all efforts with engineering and other affected departments. Use project management techniques along with the appropriate engineering team members to perform project planning and execution. All methods, materials and practices must meet and be in accordance with local codes, company specification, national codes and standard practices.
• Keep accurate completion and task records in the project files. Materials procurement and coordination of their availability are also critical to the success of this position.
• Oversee the supervision and scheduling of the work force.
• Oversee all preventative maintenance programs.
• Oversee all repair and maintenance work orders.
• Oversee inventories and procurement of parts and supplies.
• Oversee neatness and cleanliness of the engineering space and all areas under the direct control of the department.
• Properly provide orientation, training and development of department employees.
• Develop and manage the engineering budgets, capex and projects as assigned by supervisor.
• Carryout the directions set forth in the engineering SOP and the resident manager/general manager.
• Initiate and manage any cost saving projects.
• Conduct regular inspection thoroughly the hotel premises, equipment and machinery.
• Lead or facilitate the transfer of information regarding priorities, assignments, and problem solving at the various briefing sessions each day.
• To ensure fire alarm/life safety system fully operational at all times.
• To develop and implement energy and environmental conservation plan.
• Emergencies; to be available for any emergencies and act in a leadership capacity to protect our guests and employees, and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency. To act as quickly and responsibly as possible to return the building to its normal operating stage.
• To complete any reasonable request made by management which is not life threatening or against the law.
• To perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

1. At least Bachelor degree in Engineering and able to sign engineering document as required by law

2. At least 5 year experience in Engineering Department Management

3. Knowledgeable of material procurement and building codes

4. Strong result oriented, people management, and leadership skills

5. Strong in English communication skill, and computer literate

6. Strong in analytical, problem solving skills, and execution of work
