Be responsible for reviewing and proposing for any request of equipment, tools, linens, amenities needed of the department annually based on occupancy and the department GOP target.Maintain the cleaning and tidying of all bedrooms, public areas, pool, gym room, health club, employee locker rooms.

Inspect all areas of responsibility (bedrooms, linen closets, storage areas, pantries, public areas, laundry area …) on a daily basis to ensure that the hotel standards are followed.

Ensure routine maintenance is carried out in your areas of responsibility, any damage and wear and tear, bedroom faults are rectified promptly.

Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions and/or concerns.

Handle lost and found inquiries and all pertinent procedures.

Control linen and amenity costs, ensure that inventory levels are limited as regulations.

Analyse the department P&L and come up with plan to meet the budget on a monthly basis.

Monitor usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies, provide training and ensure proper labeling of hazardous supplies in accordance with hotel regulations.

Monitor staff to ensure guests receive prompt, professional attention and personal recognition.

Ensure that all staff have a complete understanding and adhere to the hotel’s policy relating to fire, hygine, health and safety.

Welcome VIP guests, special attention guest’s request.

Maintain excellent communication with all departments.

Review and act on the guest feedback relevant to your areas of responsibility (include guest complaints), follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.

Fully convey directions, undertakings and policies approved by Board of Management and necessary information related to activities of the department to each staff.

Assist Human Resources Department in developing training plans for the department.

Proactively develope training plans for the department on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to improve staff knowledge and professional skills, to make the guest satisfied.

Conduct training activities for all Housekeeping staff to improve their professional skills.

Give approval on order request, purchasing of equipment and tools for the department.

Ensure rosters are prepared properly for staff on a weekly / monthly basis.

Take part in the process of interviewing, selecting and employing staff together with Human Resources Department.

Develop and update Policies & Procedures and Manuals for the Department.

Set out rules, regulations and standards of the department in accordance with the general policy of the hotel.

- Appraise the staff performance; recommend honour and discipline staff, promote excellent staff, recommend termination of labour contract with staff that violate labour regulations.

Perform other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.

Bachelor Degree, having hotel operating skills and managing training.

Knowlegde in guest’s psychology.

Knowlegde in lodging rules and regulations.

At least 2-year working experience in Rooms Division of a 4-5-star hotel.

TOEIC or IELTS, or equivalent qualification

Knowledge of analysis..
