• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.

• Plans concept by studying information and materials.

• Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.

• Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.

• Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors.

• Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.

• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment.

• Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.

• Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional. publications; participating in professional societies.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Study design briefs and determine requirements.

• Schedule projects and define budget constraints.

• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.

• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.

• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand.

• Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic.

• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design.

• Test graphics across various media.

• Amend designs after feedback.

• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.

• Minimum a year experience in a similar position;
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Illustrator, Photoshop);
• A degree or diploma in Design/Hospitality/Marketing is advantageous;
• Proactive, guest service oriented; well-presented and professionally groomed at all time.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to learn and develop;
• Multi-tasking and organisation skills;
• Language: good English (Speaking, Listening, Writing, Reading) is a must;
• Computer Skills: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
