Achieve departmental budget goals by maintaining profits through increased sales revenue and the efficient cost expenditure.
To work with the department manager to be responsible for the monthly department profit & loss statement.
Assist in the preparation of the yearly department budget by using history and forecasting techniques to develop an aggressive budget that reflects the restaurant capabilities.
Accurately forecast business demands on a weekly basis to ensure efficient staffing and food production.
To ensure the efficient scheduling of management and employees.
To assist in the accurate supervision of the employee time control and payroll systems by working with accounting and human resources department.
To be aware of all company guest incentive programs and the correct accounting procedures pertaining to them.
To assist in the development and execution of plans and actions for the improvement and marketing of the outlet.
To assist in the development and implementation of employee & supervisor training plans on a quarterly basis in conjunction with human resources department.
To execute a departmental daily training program.
To assist in all aspects of employee management including hiring and discipline in conjunction with the director of F&B.
To train subordinate supervisors in effective “coaching and counseling” and the correct process of progressive discipline.
To participate in holding an effective monthly employee meeting and P&A forwarded to the general manager, director of F&B and human resources director/manager.
To maintain outlet safety and sanitation standards at all times.
To be responsible for asset management of all outlet property and facilities.
To assist in the preventative maintenance inspection on a monthly basis.
To work with the banqueting department to support all requested functions & ensure any banquet property is returned to its correct place in the condition it was borrowed.
Perform other duties as assigned by senior manager.
