All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Accorhotels policies, practices and procedures.
• Manages web analytics and proposes rate strategies to optimize revenue & profit from distribution sources (call centre, website, CRS, GDS, IDS).
• Responsible for creating rate integrity with Accorhotels websites and contracted rates on offline sites that are not interfaced to TARS according to RM pricing decision, also for maintaining and updating hotel websites including Accorhotels websites; online 3rd party websites; offline 3rd party website (rates and availability, sales conditions, promotion, packages)
• Identify new market opportunities. Perform extensive market research. Generate reports that analyse competition and customers to identify areas of opportunity to improve campaign performance.
• Guarantee all booking channels have correct relevant marketing information.
• Be familiar with advanced statistical analysis and research methodologies, along with common computer programs.
• Measures site usability and effectiveness and presents actionable insights and recommendations to Revenue Manager
• Work with the Sales Manager to determine pricing strategies, analyse and increase total production and rate for Dynamic Leisure, Transient and Consortia.
• Analyses & make recommendations regarding market/industry intelligence, including incoming tourist arrivals, new hotel developments, new promotions and rates at competitor hotels, new companies moving to Hanoi, Hanoi activities which could affect business, etc.
• Monitor/Analyse availability/rates on offline 3rd party websites & oversee “competitive shopping” surveys from all distribution sources
• Implement reacquired selling strategized decisions for all distribution sources.
• Analyse weekly/monthly distribution reports covering conversion ratios, call volumes, revenue per booking, average speed of answer, and average abandon ratios; monitor booking pace, length of stay, denied room nights, demographics etc.
• Ensure yield functionality of all systems is fully utilized; establish relationships with key contact for each system to keep abreast of updates to yield functionality
• Ensuring that the Hotels' position in the GDS and other distribution channels are optimized the Hotels' Selling Strategies, includes conducting rate parity and availability audits
• Performs other job related duties as requested.
Technical Responsibilities
• Understand sophisticated RM & Distribution concepts
• Good background in RM related technology
• Strong educational credentials and job experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of offline and online reservation sources
• Strong understanding of website optimization strategies & tactics
• Knowledge of product, competition and marketplace
• Ability to analyse financial statements and market intelligence
• Thorough knowledge of the internet.
• Able to present ideas, expectations, and information in a concise, well-organized manner
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking
• Excellent computer skills (Opera, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) & RM optimization tools
Commercial Responsibilities
• Responsible for RM related data quality (Rate, Room Type, Sales conditions, Package, Promotion), proposing strategy to optimize business opportunities on Accorhotels.com, Micro sites, Web Partners (OLTAs), Offline sites
• Responsible for RM related data quality (Rate, Room Type, Sales conditions, Package, Promotion), proposing strategy to optimize business opportunities on Distribution channels (GDS, IDS, Call Center, AccorPlus, Le Club program, performance of Public Preferred and Negotiated Preferred segments)
• Ensure market research and provide market intelligence.
• Oversee update of all distribution source databases (general information, policies & procedures etc.)
