IN ROOM DINING SUPERVISOR

• Be directly responsible for the room service area, ensure a smooth running, profitable operation within the framework of the hotel.

• Assist by preparing the weekly schedule for shift, assuring rotation of days off and in accordance with projected business, and submit for approval.

• Maintain an employee attendance log ad review such with management on a weekly basis.

• Be responsible to maintain the overall welfare of our employees by providing them with the training and resources to take care of our guests.

• Efficiently coordinate all hospitality and in-room dining requirement of in-house guests.

• Check for special events on a daily basis and requesting to look at that orders go out properly and on time.

• Oversee proper set-up of food service on trays ad tables. Having daily raps & briefings with room service waiters and operators to assure job knowledge and consistency of quality. Ensure records are posted and memorized by the entire room service staffs.

• Monitor appearance of room service waiters and operators; guest contact employees must maintain a sharp look, proper clean, pressed uniform; shining shoes; hair at correct length and clean; hands well-manicured.

• Supervise the training of new employees to be knowledgeable of food and beverage menus and service; at the end of an individual’s program (probationary period), evaluate their performance with management.

• Assist in the conducting of all monthly and training meetings.

• Coordinate with housekeeping in ensuring the efficient operation of the mini-bar facility.

• Coordinate with front office to ensure that all relevant information regarding in house guests is related to the department.

• Accurately forecast business demands to ensure efficient staffing & food production.

• Ensure the efficient scheduling of employees.

• Enforce operational standards that are periodically reviewed & updated.

• Assist in developing & executing plans and actions for the marketing of the outlet.

• Assist developing and implementing employee training plans on a quarterly basis in conjunction with human resources department.

• Implement a departmental daily training/ briefing program.

• Be responsible for all aspects of employee management including discipline in conjunction with the F&B manager.

• Train subordinate supervisors in effective coaching and counseling and the correct process of progressive discipline.

• Practice open door policy to all employees.

• Assist planning outside employee activity to promote teamwork.

• Enforce company sanitation checklist by having room service area inspected on a monthly basis.

• Conduct a preventative maintenance inspection on a monthly basis.

• Promote positive inter-departmental relations through candid communication and cooperation.

• Respond to guest inquiries or concerns within 24 hours in what is deemed the appropriate manner.

• Enforce company’s principals of hospitality at all times.

• Work and supervise all banqueting events and all requested functions and ensure any banquet property is returned to its correct place in the condition it was borrowed.

• At least Vocational diploma and preferable Bachelor degree in any field

• At least 2 year experience in restaurant management evidenced tracked record of achievements

• Strong inter-personality, leadership, and creative skills

• Proficiency in English and computer literate

• Strong in driving results, people management and development
