Overall Job Scope:
*Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for establishing and directing the marketing and sales activities of an organization including advertising and public relations. These activities affect the direction and goals of business.
* The director of sales & marketing is responsible for selling the total hotel room, events, and food & beverage and should always keep focused on motivating the sales team in the region / zone / cluster, train sales and marketing team, and achieve goals and objectives through sales solicitation and overall coordination.
*Supervise revenue management of all the units in the cluster / region to ensure proper pricing policy in all the segments, and implementation of sales strategy to achieve the goals of the organisation. Also ensure marketing and branding plans are implemented for all hotels in the cluster / zone / region.
Duties and Professional Responsibilities:
1. Assign sales territory, target groups and sales quotas
2. Coordinate sales activities with other work units in the zone / cluster
3. Prepare and submit plans, budgets, progress reports and annual sales reports
4. Manage human resource functions e.g. hiring, training, performance reviews
5. Research competitors' products/services
6. Develop goals and objectives, projects and priorities and assign them to the Sales Team.
7. Develop and conduct sales campaigns, as well as marketing and promotional plans
8. To work out inclusive plans for all the hotels in the cluster on sales, marketing, branding, promotion
9. Administer the cluster hotels sales and marketing department through:
• Recruit, select and prepare orientation and training of sales department personnel.
• Ensure that procedures as specified in the company SOPs and property LSOPs are implemented and adhered to.
• Daily progress and activity reports.
• Establish sales goals, both current and futures, for all hotels’ sales and marketing department carrying direct sales solicitation responsibility.
• Preparation of the monthly, quarterly, half yearly forecasts.
• Implementation of the sales and marketing systems.
• Develop an annual training plan and distribute to all sales staff for proper scheduling.
• Do rap sessions with your sales staff on an individual basis and group basis.
• Work closely with the director of marketing and the revenue team in formulating strategies to optimize sales and revenues.
• Develop a competitor reading board coverage and include the events department.

• A university degree or college diploma in business administration, marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or a related field is required .
• Previous supervisory or management experience in sales, marketing, public relations and/or the tourism industry is required .
• Strong in inter-personality and leadership skill.
• Proficiency in English communication and computer literate, Vietnemese language a plus
• Strong in driving results
