Security Supervisor

• To ensure that all associates are fully and clearly aware of their job expectations and key responsibilities, allowing associates to function effectively within the organization by giving clarity to individual role.

• Report to the Duty Manager - Security
• Supervise security officers, outsource security team.
• The Security Supervisor shall drive the security operation to the standards and quality established by the Assistant/Security Manger.
• Ensure all security operation runs strictly and accordingly to the prescribed standards as laid out by the Assistant/Security Manger in his/her absence.
• Environmental care by reducing waste supplies and materials by re-using, recycling, or selling; conserves water and energy at all available opportunities and maintain clean surroundings of all hotel areas, including the security control room.
• Supervise duty rosters, postings, etc.; ensuring that the operation runs efficiently whilst effectively discharging annual leave.
• Supervising manpower resources according to special demands such as VIP functions.
• Strictly monitor, maintain and enhance security guard’s performance standards (operational and behavioral)
• Generate incident; accident and reports in line with prescribed format and standards and submits to Assist/ security Manager within 24 hours.
• Supervise the daily activity record – submit to Assistant/ security Manager.
• Ensure that all reports, memos, documentation, maintenance record, meeting minutes, etc. are filed according to Assistant/Security Manger of Security instructions.
• Maintains the security personnel files with updated records of information and documentation.
• Facilitate the continuing training and development of all associates
• Maintain update records of all security associates qualified in first aid and fire fighting procedures.
• Ensure that all security associates are fully familiar with the hotel fire alarm systems, Fire cabinets, horse reel, fire extinguishers, etc.
• • Supervise and ensure the effective and efficient operation of routine duties, tasks and functions.
• Ensure that all alarm systems installed in the hotel are operating correctly through monthly testing.
• Report to the Assistant/ security Manager all associates’ issues; welfare and working relations problems, operational difficulties.
• Ensure that guest service is consistently delivered by security associates in all elements of the security operation.
• Ensure frequent maintenance and testing; liaise with appointed maintenance contractors/ engineering department to rectify any faults, damages or failures.
• Ensure all maintenance records, work orders and repair reports/ inspections are obtained and filed correctly in a timely fashion.

• Good general education, preferably University graduate.

• 2 years work experience in the security/safety field or 3 years work experience in the hospitality field or a combination thereof.
• Possess some previous supervisory or management level work experience
• Experience in 5-star hotel is desirable.
• Statement of honest and no criminal record.
