Lead by example and Leverage your Culinary Skills and those of your team in a healthy work environment to provide our Guests with uniquely Regent moments
Create and maintain a great synergy between all kitchens to assure maximum efficiency
Curiosity to Explore - To assist the Chef de Cuisine in Curating a Signature Range of Inspiring Discoveries for our guests, which meet and exceed their needs. This is reflected through your offering in line with the Regents Taste Gallery Philosophy
Work closely with the Chef de Cuisine to suggest and create dishes in promotional events
Ensure plating guides are up to date and distributed appropriately
Ensure that all plating guides are followed according to set dish description, cooking method and presentation image
Ensure that the dishes are prepared in the most authentic way as standards set and agreed by the Chef de Cuisine
Creativity, Leadership, Organizational Skills and Advanced Planning in conjunction with the Chef de Cuisine /Executive Chef /Executive Sous chef will be a key part of your daily focus to maintain Operational Excellence.
Continuously identify market needs, trends, and ensure that all menu offerings reflect these as well as Regents Taste Gallery Philosophy
Passionately drive your team to ensure that all tasks are completed timeously and to the highest standard
Share the distinctive Regent perspective on Food and Beverage through Innovation, Immersion and Reinvention with your team
Manage your team’s personal development and growth by actively promoting Career advancement to improve their performance and provide specialist technical skills through training and coaching as well as setting achievement and advancement goals
Actively contribute towards the Hotels Regent Food Library and Conduct Regular Masterclasses within the team for the continuous quality advancement
Daily, Weekly and Monthly planning with your team and delegating skill based tasks to the appropriate team members
