• Assist the Maintenance Manager to set up the FPMM System and run same.

• Follow up all work orders in the FCS Engineering Software System and ensure that there is no backlog of work and to take any necessary follow up.

• Ensure that all FLS equipments are in good condition and are maintained regularly.

• Know and understand the operation and maintenance of all FLS equipment and maintain when required.

• Familiarize with the location and operation of all the resort fire alarm equipment.

• Participate in all training activities as required.

• Participate actively as a member of the resort ERT in the event of fire or other emergencies

• Contribute in solving the day to day operating problem of the Engineering Department.

• Work alone as assigned, some work does not required two staff to do the work.

• Ensure complaint and requests are handled with the aim of exceeding guests’ expectations.

• Notify managers or internal staff of any delays in performing works/task in accepted standard time frame.

• Prioritizes and takes appropriate remedial action in case of problems.

• Participate in the day to day operation of the POMEC Department including general repairs and maintenance in the resort.

• Monitor stock and order spare parts for equipment, general consumable parts and materials as needed to maintain minimum stock levels.

• Be aware of the Resorts Environmental Program and carry out duties in day to day job tasks.

• Perform other tasks and duties as directed or assigned by your immediate superior.

• Notify your superior immediately when any equipment or lighting failure is noticed to expedite repairs/replacement.

• Ensure compliance with all IHG FPMM Systems and Programs.

• Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation immediately it occurs and notify staff of potential danger.

• Utilize computer applications to perform the tasks required.

• Demonstrate cooperation and trust with colleagues, supervisor and across department.

• Open to new ideas and willing to make changes in improving customer satisfaction.

• Supervise work to be undertaken by outside contractor/s.

• Participate, support and attend training programs as scheduled.

• Understand requirements of each job and ensure the completion targets are met.

• To report for duty punctually, wearing the Resort uniform and other attributes at all times.

• Shift inspection and rectification.

• Demonstrate flexibility in changing the work schedule in light of guest priorities.

• Ensure engineering equipment rooms are checked and cleaned are in operating order.

• Carry pager and respond to requests from other departments regarding minor maintenance issues throughout the day.

• Conduct lighting checks to ensure all lightings are in working order.

• Liaise directly with department (such as House Keeping, Food & Beverages, Front Office ...) regarding the completion of work orders and prioritize in order of guest satisfaction.
