This position can be based in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Job Summary

  • Under the general guidance and supervision of the DOS and within the limits of hotel policies and procedures, effectively execute sales activities to maximize room business opportunities in the markets.
  • Responsibilities
  • Ensure appropriate efforts are expanded on the solicitation and development of local and International corporate and accounts defined in the assigned portfolios.
  • Keeps a good record of top 20 accounts from the above sectors and establish business development plans for such top room nights generating companies.
  • To actively solicit new potential accounts within areas assigned.
  • Engage with bookers, influencers and decision makers to maintain a good client relationship and to solicit for future businesses.
  • To participate actively in sales blitz as directed by Director of Sales.
  • To be fully aware of the potential and buying decisions of all key accounts, competitive information on rates and volume to allow for specific strategic planning related to such accounts.
  • Ensures that all site visits conducted and handled in the most professional manner and effectively.
  • To closely follow-up on the rate acceptance within the day corporate rate letter has been sent out.
  • Ensure that one-stop shopping concept is applied at all times for any lead generated for event business.
  • To actively arrange 4 entertainments per week
  • To actively arrange 2 site inspection per week
  • To respond to all enquiries within 6 hours and overseas enquiries 24 hours. Effective follow-ups are to be conducted for such enquiries.
  • To effectively utilize the standard forms and letters to ensures that such forms and letters are presented in a most professional manner.

Yêu cầu công việc

  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
  • Must have knowledge in performing the job task assigned to a Sales Manager.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all responsibilities and tasks.
  • Must have a high degree of professional integrity and be able to work in prudent and organized manner.
