TASKS OVERVIEWING

• Being responsible for all activities of Front Office Department in work shift

• Assisting in organizing plans and operating department’s tasks

• Following Duty Roster, supervising department’s activities

TASKS CLARIFYING

• Supervising Front Office Department’s activities of resort; ensuring that every position complies with procedure effectively

• Checking VIP and group arrival lists in day

• Assisting in coordinating the preparation to welcome VIP, guest group

• Directly checking the preparation, decoration for VIP

• Checking and making sure that all mails, parcels, messages are delivered to guests fastest

• Taking requests, guest complaints and coordinating with the related departments to solve fastest to make guests satisfied; reporting problems out of control to the superior for the solutions

• Noting the requests, complaints occurred in logbook to avoid the same situations

• Being at the lobby in rush hour such as checking – in time, payment time to support staffs

• Complying with the Confidentiality Policy: finance, employee, company data, legal and tax, ….

• Instructing, motivating staffs to recommend high class services to guest

• Performing or instructing professional skills training to new staffs

• Assisting in evaluating staff performance in accordance with the procedures

• Making duty reports based on regulations

• Participating training courses and meetings as demanded

• Performing other tasks assigned by superior

• Night Duty Manager is responsible for more tasks:

- To be responsible for supervising night activities of the resort; to report the unusual accidents, incidents in night; ensuring the resort’s safety and security

- To supervise late checking – in and early checking – out, and related tasks of the Front Desk team; to support night staffs when necessary

- To follow night staff duty; to make report if any unusual problems occur

- To cooperate with the Security to solve the incidents of safety as well as harassing guests

- To patrol the whole resort; making sure that all working area are closed timely

- To check electrical, gas equipment, fire safety, ...

- To check vacant, tomorrow arrival list

- To complete Night Duty Report and submit to the superior

International working environment

• Graduating from college and higher, majoring in guest service

• Having degrees and certificates related to the profession

• Being fluent in English; being able to using other language

• Having at least 2 years working experience as the same position in 4 – 5 stars hotel/ resort
