Night Receptionist

· Ensure that late arrivals are checked in correctly, allocated a room and their luggage sent to their room without delay.

· Ensure that late arrivals are aware of facilities available at night

· Ensure that the guest is reminded about breakfast.

· Ensure that Room Service orders are prepared to the required standards and served promptly, professionally and courteously.

· Ensure that the night cleaning staff are carrying out the duties allocated to them.

· Re-arrange rosters and duties in the event of illness or absenteeism.

· Ensure strict security measures are in operation and no unauthorized person has access to any part of the hotel.

· Ensure that no unruly or rowdy behavior persists and to take the appropriate measures in the event of unreasonableness by any guest or staff members.

· Ensure that all cash and floats are securely locked away.

· Maintain the highest standards of personal appearance and hygiene, as well as ensuring that night staffs

· Ensure that staff are working and performing their duties correctly and not "sleeping on the job"

· Complete a night report detailing complaints, emergencies, incidents, maintenance or security needs, as well as a summary of action taken in Duty Manager log book

· Excellent track record with previous luxury four-star hotels.

· Fluent in English. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong leadership, supervision and management skills.

· Ability to cultivate a team focused on delivering detailed professional service.

· Active in training the staff.

· Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic and high pressure environment.
