IT Manager

At InterContinental Hotels & Resorts we look for IT Manager who is charming, confident, and

internationally-minded; who know what it takes to exceed guest expectations.

Duties and responsibilities

Financial returns:

•Has a broad knowledge of how the business is run, focuses on the major factors necessary to

ensure that the business is successful and profitable

•Participate in the preparation of the Resort’s Strategic Plans, budget’s meeting, P&L meeting

•Establish and interpret key performance indicators to manage the department, consistently takes

into accounts financial implications of business decisions and recommendations

•Educate, train and motivate the teams to achieve department and hotel revenue goals. Ensure

staff has the information, datas, tools and equipment to successfully carry out job duties

•Be responsible for your department P&L

•Manage and monitor the operation of all computer hardware, ensures all systems are working and

installed properly, and serves as the primary contact for servicing the computer hardware

People:

•Perform/ behave as per IHG Winning Ways and IHG leadership competencies

•Become familiar with the InterContinental Danang Resort employee handbook and Collective

Labor Agreement (KKB), follow the rules of the agreement.

•Manage day-to-day activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development

goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage

conflict, improve team member performance, and recognise good performance.

•Work with Human Resources on manpower planning, performance management and talent

Management

Guest experience:

•Perform Brand’s Services behaviours in daily operation basic towards the guests

•Drive to deliver Luxury Experiences to guests, to achieve Heartbeat target

•Develop and update department SOPs (standard Operation Procedure), JD (Job description) and

implement it to enhance the guest experience

Responsible business:

•Under the direction of the Director/Manager of Finance and Business Support, administer all back office

user ID’s, passwords, security parameters and the most sensitive utility

•Maintain technical and user documentation, systems reports, newsletters and announcements in a neat,

orderly and secure fashion

•Complete and distributes activity reports, program trouble reports, and enhancement list

•Keep informed of the latest, updated, changes, enhancement, and development in the hotel computer field

by subscribing to periodicals and attending seminars, workshops or conferences held by IHG, computer

companies or vendors

•Perform special project/other duties as assigned by the Management, include but not limited to serve as a

back-up in performing Financial Reporting to corporate office during the absence of Director/Manager of

Finance and Business Support
