Main Duties

Administration

• Assists in the implementation of the hotel’s Marketing Communications Strategy (goals, tactics and actions).

• Assists Marcom Director to ensure that the Marketing Communication Activities are aligned with the Corporate Marketing Strategy, and the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate.

• Assists in the Department social activities, internal communication and engagement

• Attends Departmental Communication Meetings as scheduled.

• Provides administrative support to the Department.

Customer Service

• Provides the appropriate level of professional, courteous and caring service to other associates (internal customers) and other visitors to the division.

• Respond – communicate and handover information between customers. Direct the message to related departments and/or answer them accordingly.

• Handles all guest and internal customer complaints on website, social media and OTAs and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.

Strategy and Budget Management

• Set overall digital and e-Commerce direction to help drive room and other related revenues (i.e. F&B, spa, meetings, etc.) for all the hotels managed.

• Maintain overall hotel digital budget and related vendor/agency relationships (i.e. Supporting billing and invoicing needs with each individual hotel)

• Provide ongoing updates of industry news, trends, issues, site features and best practices to senior hotel management and help educate hotel on digital marketing essentials

• Assist with tracking vendor performance and escalating issues where necessary.

Digital Marketing Responsibilities (Digital advertising, platform localization, SEO, email marketing and other ancillary revenue projects)

• Collaborate with partner agencies to develop annual business plans for hotel to ensure comprehensive strategic recommendations and ensure ROI goals are achieved for SEO, PPC, mobile, and display activity

• Work with and manage agency for projects such as mini-site development, landing page, app development and other digital marketing initiatives at the hotel as necessary.

• Strategize on email marketing initiatives with hotel Marketing Communication team. Assist with setting up accounts with approved vendors, review quarterly/annual email activity plans, and ensure quarterly performance reports are made and regularly updates hotel’s database.

• Provide insight to hotel in executing social media activities; work with Marketing Communication team on creative strategies to optimize social media channels, working with agency on tagging posts and monitoring social media performance using approved analytics tools.

• Meet with digital and e-Commerce industry representatives e.g. vendors, agencies, media partners such as Google, Yahoo, etc. if necessary. In order to gain insight to local best practices

• Oversee weekly/monthly reporting – analysis and reporting of PPC/SEO campaigns, etc. and overall website performance

• Oversee content for hotel digital activities including the property’s websites, ensuring content is up to date and optimized.

Other Duties

• Understands and strictly adheres to Rules and Regulations established in the Associate Handbook and the hotel's policies concerning fire, hygiene, health and safety.

• Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.

• Maintains strong, professional relationships with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organizations.

• Responds to changes in the Digital Marketing function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.

• Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.

• Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Yêu cầu công việc

Qualifications: Diploma of University degree in relevant field preferred.

Experience required: 

  • Proven work experience in Digital Marketing, ideally in advertising agency or in international hotel chain; 
  • In-depth knowledge of different social media platform, best practices and website analytics; 
  • Excellent analytical ability;
  • Excellent English skill.
