Direct report—General Director

Direct subordinates—Admissions & Marketing Team


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The principal function of the role is to represent and grow the reputation and awareness of the Academy locally, nationally and internationally through focused Admission initiatives with the support of the Marketing team to deliver the School’s students enrollment objectives. The Admissions Manager will play a central role in achieving school enrollment goals and will work closely and in collaboration with the Dean and General Director to monitor the success of marketing initiatives through the analysis of student recruitment data and statistics, with regular reporting to the General Director and the Dean.

RESPONSIBILITIES—ADMISSIONS

Responsible for the entire cycle of student recruitment, admissions and enrolment.

Administer and manage student applications, following up on deadlines and making sure all documents and necessary information is filled out by the applicant.

Providing information, answering questions to prospective students and other stakeholders such as hotels, restaurants and other partners.

Communications

Represent and promote the Academy - VET by EHL program & certificates to prospective students and parents

Conducting admission or Information tours of local schools & hotels to raise awareness of VET by EHL program.

Scanning the market for competition and identifying developing Admission trends that will affect the VET by EHL business.

Manage the Academies Admissions presentation in the media and other communication channels, building positive awareness, and deliver advertising and communications activities which support student’s enrollment.

Student Recruitment

Review and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and communication to ensure the successful delivery of student recruitment objectives.

Represent the School at events (both internal and external) and engage with families and online Activity if required.

Manage (and analyse the success of) the Academies systems, including the Academies and Hotels website, Parent Portal and social media channels, to promote the School, ensuring content is up to date.

Manage the delivery of a range of Admission and enrolment events throughout the school year, in conjunction with the Marketing team colleagues, and ensure the timely production of promotional materials to support these events as appropriate.

Person Specification Essential:

Similarly, direct experience of the admissions process within a school is not a requirement but this will be an advantage.

Commercially astute, with the skills to generate opportunities and achieve conversion to meet objectives.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of creating and delivering high quality promotional materials and communications across a variety of media channels.

Strong team player, with the ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues.

Professional experience

4-5 years of experience in Student recruitment or Admissions or student related role at University/College

Experience in Marketing

Academic qualifications

Minimum—Bachelor’s degree
