REPORTING LINES
Direct report— General Director / Operations Manager
Direct subordinates— House Keeping Attendants
RESPONSIBILITIES—GENERAL
Delivery of VET by EHL training programs in Rooms and Housekeeping subjects to students of various levels and backgrounds.
Able to impart importance of taking responsibility for the performance of floor attendants.
Able to train in the organization and facilitation of the room making process.
Able to train in daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members.
Able to impart the responsibility for the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and heart of the house area of the floor.
Eye for detailed the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to guest needs.
Ensures that the entire operation is performed as per the laid down standards for students and staff.
Able to train on how to quickly organise schedules for the purpose of accommodating the guest needs first.
Able to train on how to effectively manage guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant team members.
Teach organized method for inspection of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet standards.
Able to understand all room categories and amenities quickly, and train on the same.
Imparts responsibility of achieving positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
Carry out lost and found procedures.
Report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department.
Represent the needs of the team to others in the hotel.
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
Able to understand employee’s positions well enough and to perform duties in students or employees' absence.
Leading by example in customer service excellence, beyond Rooms and training duties

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Working in the FE sector/an FE college
4-5 years of House Keeping experience in a 5-star hotel (or higher)
First Management experiences
Able to work flexible hours and days.
Knowledge of current and updated Rooms & Housekeeping trends.
