• When entering the guest villa or suite, you make sure that you repsect privacy and ensure that there are no guests inside by announcing yourself.
• You acknowledge guests when you meet hem around the resort, by making discreet eye contact and greeting appropriately.
• Your body language is positive and confident, yet humble, creating an inviting and approachable atmosphere for our guests.
• Be able to apply intuitive service, ensuring that service happens swiftly and without invading the guests’ personal space.
• You are pro-active in supporting your In-Villa Dining colleagues, but also in other food and beverage outlets if requested by the management.
• Your communication with colleagues, through both body language and voice, is always calm and with a gracious tone.
• You oversee the amount of work and are pro-active in asking for assistance from colleagues whenever required.
• Be considerate and carefull when transporting items by buggy throughout the resort, always give priority to guests and adhere safety regulations.
• Ensure all amenties are setup according to the resort’s standards and that service stations are fully stocked and ready for operation.
• You have a great eye for detail, which shows to an impeccable set-up of amenties and no visible imperfections on fruit or amenities.
• Know where all suites and villa numbers are located throughout the resort, in order to ensure faultless and fast delivery
• Be pro-active in verifying preparation times and ensure you always have an updated list of all arrivals.
• You communicate with other departments to ensure amenties are set-up at the right time, including last-minute changes.
• You are responsible for preparation of the different types of amenities and actively monitor preparation times with the pastry team to ensure delivery of amenities happens within a timely manner.
• You responsibly handle cash and credit card payments, resulting in an accurate daily report at the end of the day.
• Make sure all In-Villa Dining equipment and buggies are spotlessly clean. You do this by following cleaning checklists, but also by taking control and inspect the areas on a regular base.
• Always live up to the standards set by the Regent brand, by assuring you know the standard operating procedures and making sure they are respected.
• You know the Forbes Travel Guide Standards that are applicable for restaurants & bars and you ensure that you implement them within the service processes.
• You pay attention to small details, which visually expresses in a spotlessly clean workspace, tailored services and a well-groomed appearance.
• You have the knowledge to solve problems on the spot, but also knows when to ask for assistance from colleagues. Always follow up on guest issues and report occurred problems to the management.

Qualification

Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Culinary Skills or related field.

Experience

2 years minimum in five-star hotel or fine dining restaurant.

Service years in supervisor/manager level

2Years previous experience in same position

Knowledge and skills

Working with multi-cultural teams

Be aware of all Health, Safety and Fire regulations and abide by their terms

Maintain high standards of personal hygiene at all times

Demonstrate proper and safe usage of all kitchen equipment

Ensure that full uniform is worn at all times
