1. Handle local purchase of general supplies and Misc. order to ensure that purchased items meet the user’s requirement and delivery in time

2. Maintain an accurate controllable log & beverage perpetual

3. Look for the price, do comparison price and double check prices of the order and ensure they are reasonable and competitive.

4. Source and order from reliable agent to ensure getting the best price and quality.

5. Report Purchasing Manager promptly of the changing status of products in the market for proper action.

6. Take charge of ordering and miscellaneous things for concerned departments.

7. Undertake local purchase requisition requested by hotel Department leaders:

8. Double check the prices monthly to ensure the selected price is the most competitive

9. Ensure the purchased products meet hotel standard

10. Search for sources which can offer better price

11. Coordinate with Receiving/Store section to ensure that delivery schedule of goods or commodities and required quantity & quality and distribute relevant documents such as official invoice necessary for receiving procedures

12. Do market survey frequently to capture the changes of the market and to ensure the quoted prices are most competitive. Always have the list of substitute for goods/commodities in case of unavailability of the existing used

13. Compose the contract and review the term in the contract how to get an advantage term for the hotel.
