Job Description

- Manage the entire operation of the reception and lobby area, be responsible to the Management for the operation of the department

- Participate in operations meetings to liaise and coordinate closely with support departments regarding general administration and operations issues

- Supervising check-in, check-out, cash collection and revenue management

- Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Front Office and that departmental standards and procedures set out are strictly followed

- Ensure that the services of the department are delivered to guests with the aim of exceeding guest expectations

- Resolve guest complaints, solve all problems arising in the lobby area

- Makes courtesy calls to VIPS, long stay and corporate guest to obtain feedback and pro-act to handle any gaps in service standards

- Manage daily room inventory and coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure requested rooms are cleaned according to arrival times

- Responsibility for effective recruitment, training and development, performance evaluation, turnover reduction and optimization of productivity through efficient work practices and associate rostering

Requirements:

- At least 3 years experience within hotel industry

- Honest, agile, able to work independently, withstand pressure and

- Have good communication skills

- Excellent in spoken and written English, knowing additional languages is a plus
