PHẠM VI CÔNG VIỆC/ SCOPE OF WORKS

The main job of a Concierge/Baggage Officer at a hotel is to work closely with members of the Lobby Department, Management and other departments in assisting customers with luggage, transportation and other necessary tasks.

The Baggage Agent is usually the person that guests see first and last in the hotel.

Attentiveness is crucial to a hotel's success because it conveys an important message to customers about its signature service offering.

The function of a Bellman at the hotel is to work closely with the Guest Service team member, Managementand other hotel departments in providing guest

assistance with luggage, transportation and miscellaneous needs.

Often the first and last person a guest sees while staying at the hotel is the Bellman.

The care and attention that goes with this position is crucial to the success of a resort as they convey acritical message to the guests about the property's

commitment to service.

CÔNG VIỆC VÀ TRÁCH NHIỆM CỤ THỂ/ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for transporting luggage, messages, and leading guests to rooms and public areas, mail delivery, instructions at the request of guests, keeping the foyer area tidy;

- Handling of luggage, messages, escorts guests to rooms and other public areas, runs errands, handles mails, keeps the lobby area tidy, providing directional guidance to guests;

- Lead guests to the room and assist in transporting luggage for guests. Introduce and guide room amenities for guests;

- Escorts guests to room and assist with baggage upon arrival. Shows guestroom facilities and how to operate them;

- Ensure adequate transportation of mail, messages, faxes, and articles to the correct living room;

- Ensure prompt delivery of articles, messages, faxes, and newspapers to the correct guestroom;

- Provide updates on any special events in Phu Quoc city, entertainment venues and ongoing activities/events at Grand World;

- Provide updated information on any special events in Phu Quoc, entertainment spot and functions/events ongoing in the Grand World;

- Assisting visitors with disabilities and guests from buses or cars entering and exiting the Hotel;

- Assists handicapped visitors and guests from the bus or automobiles into and out of the Hotel;

- Monitor traffic flow and parking areas in the right places;

Monitor the traffic flow and parking spaces at the driveway;

- Work closely with security personnel to ensure that the road for vehicles is properly maintained;

- Work closely with the Security guards to ensure that the driveway is properly maintained;

- Secure baggage for safekeeping and storage in the baggage room in accordance with established procedures;

Accept baggage for safekeeping and storage in luggage room according to established procedures;

- Update the list of incoming, outgoing and current guests daily and other requests of guests to work smoothly;

- Daily updating guest lists of arrival, departure and in-house guest and others guest requests for smooth working with guest information;

- Carry out inspections of luggage trolleys and trams and ensure that they are clean both inside and out;

- Perform a physical inspection of the trolleys, buggies and make sure they are clean and spotless both inside and outside;

- Make sure all equipment is in good working order;

- Ensure the safety of the guest's baggage in the correct position of the concierge;

- Ensure safekeeping of guest luggage under the bellman's attention and in the luggage room;

- Report to the Lobby Supervisor/Shift Manager on any unusual situations occurring in this area;

Reports to the Guest Service Supervisor/Duty Manager of any abnormal situation encountered on the floor;

- Respond to phone calls, responses and requests made at the baggage counter;

- Attends to telephone calls, feedback and requests made at the Concierge Desk;

- Perform other tasks assigned by the Management Board.

- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management;

NĂNG LỰC VÀ KINH NGHIỆM/ QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

- Học vấn: Chứng chỉ nghiệp vụ (Ngoại ngữ, Quản trị kinh doanh du lịch);

- Nói và viết tốt tiếng Anh. Biết thêm ngoại ngữ khác là một lợi thế;

- Có niềm đam mê nghề nghiệp;

- Ít nhất 01 năm kinh nghiệm ở vị trí tương đương;

- Level of Education: Vocational (Hospitality, English);

- Fair verbal and written communications skills in English;

- Pro-active with a passion for luxury hospitality;

- A minimum of 01-year experience in a similar role;

- Tin học: Cơ bản
