About this role:
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and executing the sales plan, creating commercial awareness, and forming and maintaining relationships with partners and guests. You will also be responsible for highlighting short/medium/long-term sales plan to the BOD.
The Sales Manager will be working closely with the founder and the HODs to build and propose sales products and monthly forecasting processes, as well as create proper sales targets.
Responsibilities and tasks:
1. Promote Balance Hospitality’s image.
- Work closely with not only traditional channels but also coordinating with the ecosystem of BL life to push the sales activities, expanding the sales efforts of Balance Hospitality.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc…
- Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
- Understand & run the targets including: Room revenue, promotion packages, vouchers, etc…
2. Managing Sales Activities
- Participate in sales calls to acquire new business and/or close business deals.
- Execute and support the operational/administrative aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence).
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to boost the Sales activities
- Perform any other duties assigned by BOD to maximize room revenue.
3. Drive Sales Revenue
- Identify new businesses to achieve personal and location revenue goals. Carry out market studies of new locations to support for company's business development plan.
- Understand the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand etc,,, To have a strategy for each segment.
- Close the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needs.
- Gain an understanding of the location's primary target customer and service expectations; serve the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solutions.
- Do the weekly sales call report and highlight the potential list
- Protect customer database
4. Providing Exceptional Customer Service
- Support the company's service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
- Service our customers in order to grow their share of the account.
- Execute and support the company's customer service standards.
- Provide excellent customer service consistent with the daily service basics of the company.
- Set a positive example for guest relations.
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
- Communicated with internal department: Reservation, transportation, outlet,.. etc to meet up with the proper service requirement for Guest

Your qualifications:
University background with a related major
Experience in the hotel industry for 3+ years with the similar positions
Deep practical understanding of the customer market with proven experience in developing sales goals and objectives.
Adaptable (as in - can come up with new solutions and ideas if needed, not just go by the rule book)
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Willingness to travel
Good at people management, a team player
