- Assist in the pricing comparison, ensuring bid completion and the basic coordination of purchasing process.
- Ensure proper authorization has been obtained for all hotel-specific purchasing contracts and conduct, manage and complete competitive bids in accordance with policy and ensure bids are on file where applicable prior to execution of contracts
- Constantly keep abreast of new products, services and processes and consult with hotel management on feasibility of implementation.
- Ensure all purchase order requests are properly documented and accounted for, completed and approved before a purchase order is prepared and items are purchased
- Monitor status of slow-moving stocks and ensure a Slow-Moving Stocks Report is circulated monthly to Director of Finance and Director of Purchasing
- Assist with regular cleaning and re-organization of storerooms and receiving area, their facilities.
- Inspect all goods at delivery entrance of hotel to determine if orders are correct and of good quality

- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Experience required by position is at least one full year of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organizations
