- To secure new and repeat business by means of personal sales calls (average 6 calls a day and minimal 25 companies per week), telephone contacts and written communication. By doing systematically to maximize use of time, promotion money and entertainment.
- Finding new Travel Agents, Corporates who use the Resort’s services/package.
- Be responsible in achieving the monthly/annual target room nights based on the areas / market industry assigned to you by servicing existing accounts and developing new business.
- Productive in finding 5 new companies per week. Invite the potential Travel Agent for site inspection resort.
- To assist in soliciting function room business/seminars, conventions, exhibitions, conferences and any other private or public gatherings using the hotel’s facilities.
- Exercise and follow sales and credit policies and practice established by the Hotel. To conduct and project a professional image in all external relations with clients.
- To make constructive suggestions to DOSM on special sales plan/promotion revision to meet the competition, increase revenue and improve sales effort.
- Update the Business Leads by weekly in the weekly report.
- Update the yearly contracts by monthly or yearly. Update monthly database.
- To co-ordinate with relevant supporting departments all pertinent and special arrangements regarding each event.
- To submit weekly / monthly report detailing all sales activities with competitors survey.
- To take on additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Responsible to collect the debt if have
- Is not authory to disclosed any company document as database, rate, revenue and report to competitors.
- To perform any other duties as directed by the Management.

- Good English speaking and writing.
- Certificate of related field.
- Good attitude, honest and productive.
- Background at Sales Manager position is required (at least 5 years experience in Hotel/ Resort of 5 star properties).
- Able to work independently.
- Must be willing and able to travel locally and internationally as required for the job.
