General Accountant/ Account Executive

About this role:

General Accountant is responsible for ensuring that BHos have accurate financial records. GA commonly works to ensure that all transactions are properly recorded and accounted formally.

Responsibilities and tasks:

Ensure all accounting activities of the company are recorded properly according to Vietnamese law and to company requirements.

Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

Documents financial transactions by entering account information.

Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.

Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.

Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

Secures financial information by completing database backups

Performs the job in the accounting department as: follows and checking on bank transactions, payment transfers, receivable and payable; issuing VAT invoice; and input data into accounting software.

Tax declaration and finalization

Coordinates with other departments, internal audit from Head Office and external parties.

Other tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.

Your qualifications:

Your qualifications: Degree in Accounting or Business Administration Management.

Good at English for internal communication and understanding only

Proactive and organized self-starter who can work independently within set objectives

Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills

Proven experience in Accounting positions in hospitality or service industry

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Strong Excel skills

Experience in the hospitality, tourism, or real estate industry is a big plus
