Mô tả công việc

To oversee the day to day operation in areas relating to the Laundry/ uniform section and to administer the supervision of all laundry and uniform staff in conjunction with the Director of Housekeeping/ Assistants Director of Housekeeipng.
To assist in general inventories by taking inventories for Linen, uniform, laundry supplies, recording all stock, and maintaining control of all issuing.
To ensure that the Laundry secton operates according to the policies and procedures set forth by Four Seasons Hotels.
Assistant Laundry Manager is responsible for ensuring that all linen is clean, the circulation is sufficient, the linen closets are well stocked, all uniforms are clean, in excellent condition and always available for employees, and the highest standards are met as set by Four Seasons Properties
Manages and directs the activities of both guest and hotel laundry. Makes inspection trips through entire area checking on production methods and procedures. Checks washing formulas, making corrections and improvements whenever possible.
Confers with maintenance mechanics regarding repairs and replacement problems. Coordinates with Chief Engineer regarding new methods and machines.
Plans work and production schedules to meet Housekeeping, Spa and Food & Beverage requirements. Attends periodic planning meetings with these departments and management to discuss all laundry matters and to map out necessary schedules to meet unusual conditions.
Oversees laundry office functions including production reports, schedules and other records. Supervises and investigates all claims against the laundry working closely with hotel executives responsible for guest claim liability. Ensures that proper care is given to linen and uniforms.
Holds department meetings, keeping his/her staff informed of new methods, changes in procedure and to maintain efficiency. May supervise and direct the function of the Valet Department.
Monitor, on monthly basis, wash formulas ensuring all dispensing equipment is in proper working order.
Experience in : Laundry Equipment, Washroom Chemistry, Production, Quality Control, Energy Usage and Control, Par Requirements, Inventory Procedures, Safety / OSHA Requirements.
Ensure cleanliness of Laundry and Valet areas as well as storage areas. Assistant Laundry Manager should also conduct linen inventory for Room, Spa as well as Food & Beverage Division as the Policy
Develop and maintain a Linen Discard System ensuring all par levels are maintained.
Keep open communication with Director of Housekeeping and have regular meetings.
Responsible for implementing "ongoing" training programs, and projects as assigned.
Monitor training of new employees.
