Mô tả công việc

1. Recruitment & Selection

• Updates the recruitment status report on a weekly basis from the Personnel Requisition Form of HODs including permanent and casual staff.

• Handles manning requests from department.

• Advertising - get the job descriptions and personnel specifications, prepare job advertisements and suggest how and where jobs will be advertised and prepare other recruitment material such as brochures, posters, notices.

• Maintains the JD database.

• Liaises with individuals outside the hotel including, but not limited to, government officers, colleges and universities, hotel schools, recruitment agencies, competitors and other members of the local community.

• Corrects and timely places internal and external advertisements.

• Attracts and help to select the right and qualified candidates for position vacancies.

• Provides professional support and advice on recruitment to line and departmental managers, and advice managers on best practice recruitment and selection.

• Develops and manages the database, candidate pool for each position (internally and externally). Ensures the candidate database is up-to-date.

• Implements recruitment/selection strategy and mobility process, screen application forms, shortlist applicants, conduct pre-screening interviews, language tests and personality questionnaires as required.

• Is responsible for candidate reference check from job level 5 and above.

• Is responsible of the employee recruitment from receiving Personnel Requisition phase until hiring confirmation.

• Handles-over the hiring confirmation to HR coordinator and follows up until the Offer Letter is done.

• Builds scholarship with vocational schools, colleges, and universities to create a talent pool.

• Selects potential trainees from schools to be interns at the hotel.

• Conduct exit interviews for line staff and provide feedback on reasons for turnover.

2. Administration:

• Ensures the employee profile (hard and soft copy) is accurate, well filed and updated

• Yearly updates the employee profile in March

• Makes sure the probation assessment, renewal labor contract are processed on time

• Supports operation by alarming Head of Department about their staff performance regarding their attendance base on the report from HR system. Promptly report cases of late, or not report to work as the arranged shift

• Takes responsible for any HR reports

• Supports resigned staff in any related task

• Follow HR policy when handling the promotion, transfer of the staff

• Ensures Staff and Manager awareness of HR Policies and procedures

• Controls SAP number by requesting new SAP for new employees and deleting ones of resigned employees

• Controls overtime request and claims are supported by proper approval and authorization

• Controls and monthly updates the annual leave and compensation leave balance to relevant HODs

• Manage all the in/out document of the department

• Maintain confidentiality at all times on all matters

3. Employee relations:

• Regularly communicates with staff and maintains good relations

• Coordinates to update the discipline status of the employees

• Coaches, counsels and disciplines staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance

• Coordinates with Trade Union to well deliver the staff benefits

• Support Cluster HRM in other staff activities

• Arranging the office in tidy and proper order to make HR office become an “attractive place” for associates

• Makes sure all new employees have uniform, shoes, nametag and locker
