Income Audit Officer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.

2. Prepare banquet breakdown base on Event Order and actual bills, check the Banquet checks to ensure the completeness and accuracy.

3. Reconcile, prepare and post daily revenue journals.

4. Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly Revenue report, Report to Owners and relevant reports to Marriott International.

5. Review daily General Cashier reports, prepare posting journals for Cash bank in and do the reconciliations to ensure there are no discrepancies between Accounting book, PMS/POS system and Bank statements.

6. Prepare daily bank posting and bank reconciliation for AR, Credit Card, Bank charges, Commissions and other charges if any.

7. Prepare daily reconciliation for all clearance accounts and ensure any variances are reported, investigated and resolved in a timely manner.

8. Review vendor code documents and create in the system, ensure the information is correct and comply with hotel policy.

9. Review daily executive packet report relating to rate in house report; negative posting; room discrepancy, room out of order and reservation detail report.

10. Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.

11. Prepare A&L reconciliations as specified.

12. Align working practices and conduct with Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers’ Vision; consistently strive to meet and exceed the expectations of both internal and external guests.

13. Understand and adhere to relevant workplace health and safety standards. Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related Hotel and Marriott International Policies.

14. Align management style, working practices and conduct with Sheraton Saigon Hotel &Tower’s Vision, Corporate Values and policies.

15. Completely understand, implement and ensure adherence to Local Labor Laws and Marriott International policies.

• At least 1-year experience at the same position
• Good command in English and Vietnamese
• Friendly, hardworking, willing to learn
• Prefer Hotel experience.
