Reporting directly to the Cluster General Manage and Cluster Director of Sales (DOS)
Cluster Assistant Director of Sales will develop the right strategy for the Hotel and together with DOS to lead the entire Sales team in order to maximize the revenue generation of each hotel segment, while maintaining an excellent brand awareness within the team and the market, as well as delivering the KPIs given for the Sales team.
Main Responsibilities
• To plan the annual Sales plan, based on the previous researches, investigations and analysis of the market trends (local and international). To review the development of the plan and take appropriate actions in order to achieve the sales goals and improve the sales results in all segments.
• To liaise with Cluster Director of Revenue & Reservations for the occupancy forecast in order to establish a correct price policy, adapted to the different potential customers (groups, key accounts, tour operators…), and with the approval of the Cluster General Manager.
• Identify the threats and opportunities in the market and competitor set, and implement the correspondent actions.
• To successfully attend to the key events and maintain permanent contact with KA, detecting the potential customers and accounts within the market segmentation and customers’ geographic origin.
• To provide guidance, leadership and support to all department associates
• To lead the implementation of the internal talent development program.
Main Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience in as a sales manager or similar position in the International Hospitality industry.
• University Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism or equivalent educational background
• Strong knowledge and experience in Korean markets
• Excellent level of English language, both written and verbal. Korean communication is an advantage.
• Outstanding negotiation abilities.
• Outstanding leadership skills, strong motivating team leader. Track record of developing sales talent.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Dynamic, pro-active and Business savvy.
• Ability to develop, manage and implement strategy and plans
