EVENTS ADMINISTRATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Events Administrator
Work location: District 7, HCM
Job brief
We are looking for candidates that are organized, have a keen eye for detail and a willingness to exceed guest expectations. Events Administrator responsibilities include prospecting, client management, group and event bookings and able to organize all details of the events into a clear and efficient event order for the operations department to execute.
Responsibilities
- Show enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge about our products and venues to enhance your performance in event sales.
- Utilize your unique style and personality to boost sales and establish strong connections with clients.
- Contribute to and embrace our sales culture, striving to meet your sales targets while upholding high standards and productivity.
- Consistently exceed all key performance indicators (KPIs) on a daily and monthly basis.
- Collaborate with our office administration team to manage client invoicing and payments.
- Coordinate with relevant vendors to fulfil event requirements.
- Thoroughly document clients' needs that align with the event's scope and objectives.
- Supervise ongoing arrangements, preparations, and any necessary adjustments to ensure client satisfaction.
- Promptly resolve any issues that may arise during an event without disrupting the occasion.

Requirements and skill
- Excellent English, especially in speaking and listening.
- There are various departments performing different functions at an event, and it is the duty of the event executive to oversee all of them. Therefore, he or she needs to be able to multitask in order to efficiently manage the event
- Good communication skills because he or she is required to talk to clients, listen to their needs, and provide ideas and solutions to their requirements. Effective communication between the event executive and internal teams is also important to foster and ensure a successful event planning
- Customer service and interpersonal skills are requirements applicants must meet
- Possesses good negotiation skills to be able to work out best prices with clients and contractors
- Possesses good problem-solving skills in order to quickly solve problems that may arise during events. This is important to ensure that everything goes according to plan.
