[Melia Vinpearl Phu Quoc] Assistant Housekeeping Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department.

2. Conduct training sessions for new and existing housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service.

3. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the housekeeping team.

4. Monitor the performance of housekeeping staff and provide feedback and coaching to improve their performance.

5. Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked.

6. Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

7. Assist in conducting regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.

8. Assist in managing and resolving guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services.

9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping operations and training methods.

1. Prior experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in a supervisory or training capacity.

2. Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and motivate staff.

4. Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

6. Proficient in using computer software and systems related to housekeeping operations.

7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

8. Certification or training in housekeeping operations is a plus.

9. Language: Good English skills
