Sales Manager/ Senior Sales Manager (Corporate & MICE)

What you will be doing:

The Sales Manager MICE will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing and will join our in-house sales team, which is in charge of converting incoming group leads in order to achieve our targets in the group segment. This role is a possible gateway to your next career steps as we are looking for a talented and motivated team member, with the drive to deliver results for future developments.

Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offers professional, engaging, and friendly service

• Representing Mai House values and service promises

• Evaluating group requests

• Determine group rates based on evaluation with the support of DOSM

• Sending proposals/contracts

• Regular follow-ups to ensure the highest possible conversion

• Handles negotiations to ensure maximization of revenue income

• Sales calls and telesales to potential clients

• Site Inspections to showcase the property

• Entertainment (when group request is involved)

• Update on lead status for all necessary meetings and report

• Preparation of monthly production reports

• Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
• 1-2 years of working experience in the same position at Hotels/ Resorts.
  
• Fluent communication in English, both verbal and written.
• Proficient Management skills.
• Hardworking, eager to learn and proactive in work.
