You also make an effort to acknowledge returning guests and remember their preferred beverages and names. You constantly look for opportunities to positively surprise guests, whether through small gestures or larger acts of kindness.
  • Overall, your role as an overseer of operations and connector between Bar Jade and Fu Bar is essential in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for both colleagues and guests.
  • Your body language exudes positivity and confidence, while still maintaining a humble demeanor, creating an inviting and approachable atmosphere for our esteemed guests.
  • You possess the exceptional ability to upsell high-quality products and utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the overall experience for our customers, resulting in increased average spending and a boost in overall revenue.
  • Furthermore, you demonstrate a proactive approach in supporting your colleagues at Regent Phu Quoc Bars, as well as other food and beverage outlets, whenever requested by management.

Your professionalism as a bartender shines through in the perfectly organized and inviting appearance of the bar.You responsibly record orders through the Point of Sale system and actively monitor preparation times in order to deliver food & beverage items within a timely manner.
  • You will be responsible for handling cash and credit card payments with great care, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded in the Point of Sale System. This meticulous approach will result in an accurate daily report at the end of each day.
  • As a representative of the Regent brand, it is essential that you consistently meet the high standards set for both beverage creations and service behaviors. You are well-versed in the standard operating procedures and possess the ability to put these standards into practical use.
  • Familiarity with the Forbes Travel Guide Standards applicable to restaurants and bars is crucial, and you will ensure their implementation throughout the service processes.
  • Adhering to procedures related to inventory control, breakage, spoilage, temperature logs, and cleaning tasks is of utmost importance. You will meticulously document all recordings, store them appropriately, and promptly report any irregularities to the management.
  • In addition to your other responsibilities, you will also be required to perform basic lifeguard duties when working around the pool. To ensure your preparedness, the resort will provide you with comprehensive training.
  • Your attention to detail is paramount, and it is reflected in your spotlessly clean workspace, impeccable beverage creations, and well-groomed appearance.You have the knowledge to solve problems on the spot, but also knows when to ask for assistance from colleagues. Always follow up on guest issues and report occurred problems to the management.
  • As a member of our Food and beverage team, your role will involve delivering beverages and meals to our valued guests across various outlets. It is crucial that you ensure all purchases are processed accurately, demonstrating your attention to detail. Additionally, you should possess a proactive attitude, allowing you to respond promptly to the needs of both guests and the restaurant management team.
  • Taking ownership of your responsibilities, you will play a vital role in coaching and guiding new bartenders and barbacks. Following a structured training schedule, you will ensure that the correct standards and methods of service are consistently maintained. Your understanding of stock control will also be valuable, as you will assist the Food and beverage Manager in conducting weekly stock-taking.

  • Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management
  • 2 years of related experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality management, or related field preferred
  • Must speak the English language, other languages will be a plus
  • Understanding about beverages, spirits, be able to be creative in desgining menu
  • Be able to explain and communicate to the guests with storytelling through understanding about beverages
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card, as required by local law
