Assistant Reservation Manager

To assist guests and ensure their stays at the hotel are comfortable and an experience to remember. The Assistant Reservation Manager must be knowledgeable in the comprehensive description of the rooms, facilities and on-going offers, monitor the property inventory and coordinate with the front office for all special guest requests.

The Assistant Reservation Manager ensures all procedures are performed to the property's standards, assists reservation staff whenever necessary in performing all job functions, and coordinates with relevant departments to resolve all guest issues and recommend appropriate measures where required.

Education: • Bachelor’s degree in finance/marketing/hospitality management.

Experience: • 3-5 years of experience in resort reservations, front office, and sales with international chain resorts. Previous experience in a supervisory role is required. Innovative self-starter, highly motivated.

Knowledge and Skills: • Professionalism, goal focus & initiative, assertiveness, quality awareness. analytical and numerical skills. excellent communication and presentation skills. deals efficiently and confidently with complaints and queries from owners, department heads and external parties. demonstrates strong personal organization and time management skills. it technology proficiency (pms, channel managers).

Language: • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Second language other than English is an advantage.
