Sales Executive - Based in HCMC

1. OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

The position is responsible for growing the customer base of the assigned segments and a defined set of accounts for the Hotels in the area. Attract, develop and retain business accounts and carry out the actions defined in the sales action plan to achieve and exceed the quantitative and qualitative objectives in the hotels Business Plans.

2. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assists the Sales Manager/DOS in the preparation of budgets for the assigned segment and/or markets and sectors and in the preparation of the hotel Business Plans.

2. Attends those site inspections in the hotel as per indications of the Sales Manager/DOS.

3. To implement a flexible work schedule based on business patterns.

4. Based on the assigned segment/s, prepares and completes incoming agencies contracts, MICE Agreements, etc. Prepares the Business Case required to attract new accounts.

5. Awareness of the competition in the area, their products, prices, strengths and weaknesses, incorporating this into his/her sales pitch.

6. Monitor and ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction by providing quality client and guest service and products within corporate standards.

7. Promotes and develops virtual sales activities for the hotel in the area to reach a greater number of customers in a more efficient and dynamic way within the MeliaPro environment.

8. Establish and maintain a good customer relationship with clients.

9. Be knowledgeable of the Brand philosophy and comply with the standards, operational and identity manuals that apply to their department.

10. Ensure guests receive efficient, knowledgeable and courteous service, and high quality products and service.

11. Performs any other duties assigned by Sales Manager/DOS.

12. Produce weekly and monthly report.

• College/Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing & Public Relations.
• At least 1 year in international hotels in the same position.
• English - Advanced level, written & spoken
• Knowledge of third language is an advance
• Ability to work in a team, organisation, planning, results oriented.
• Basic knowledge, PMS (Opera Cloud, Sihot) CRM Focus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word and Excel
