Position:Purchasing Intern
Work location: District 4, HCM
Job brief
We're in search of a dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Purchasing Intern. This role offers an immersive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Candidates must be committed to working full-time hours.
Responsibilities
• Purchase Order Management: Assist in the creation and processing of purchase orders. Review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness. Track and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery.
• Vendor Communication: Liaise with suppliers to resolve order discrepancies or issues. Communicate delivery schedules and expectations to suppliers. Maintain positive relationships with vendors.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock outs. Assist in Variance reporting.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, certifications, and contracts. Organize and file procurement documents for easy virtual retrieval. Prepare reports and summaries as needed.
• Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Assist in the acquiring, evaluating, and entering information into systems for approval of new vendors. Stay up to date with procurement regulations and industry best practices.
• Cost Control: Assist in cost analysis and cost-saving initiatives. Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the purchasing team as required.

Yêu cầu công việc
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience or coursework in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields is a plus but not required.
- Flexibility to work weekends to accommodate purchasing needs as necessary.
