Security Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate & Supervise: Oversee daily security activities and ensure strict compliance with hotel policies and SOPs.
• Training & Safety: Train security personnel and promote a strong safety-first culture across the property.
• Risk & Asset Protection: Safeguard guests, employees, and hotel assets; continuously assess and mitigate potential security threats.
• Incident Management: Handle, investigate, and thoroughly document incidents (accidents, losses, thefts).
• Emergency Response: Maintain emergency protocols and coordinate effectively with local authorities.
• Management & Alignment: Advise leadership on security matters and represent the department in Rooms Division and department head meetings.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shift Management: Conduct daily briefings and optimize staff schedules based on business volume.
• Cross-departmental Communication: Establish smooth communication channels with other hotel departments and stakeholders.
• Personnel Administration: Manage staff leaves, overtime, performance, and disciplinary actions.
• Problem Solving: Resolve operational issues promptly while meeting administrative deadlines.

• Minimum education of Bachelor degree in Social Science or relevant discipline.

• At least 5 years’ experience in similar position in security & safety management. Loss prevention experience will be an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of local laws, investigative methods and fire safety.

• Criminal-free record.

• Have good English communication skills both in written and spoken.

• Possess professional disposition with excellent communication and interpersonal
