Assistant IT Manager

Position Summary: The Assistant IT Manager is a pivotal member of the IT department, tasked with supporting the Head of IT in overseeing the club’s IT operations and initiatives. This includes assisting in managing IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, supporting gaming technology projects, and contributing to the overall strategic IT planning. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in information technology, experience with gaming systems, and a proven track record in IT project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of the club’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and gaming systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Support the implementation of IT security measures to protect data and systems, adhering to industry best practices and compliance regulations.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of IT projects, particularly those related to gaming technologies, ensuring they align with the club’s objectives and meet set timelines and budgets.
• Help oversee the IT support team, providing guidance and technical support to ensure efficient resolution of IT-related issues.
• Collaborate with the Head of IT in evaluating new gaming technologies and systems for potential integration into the club’s offerings.
• Maintain documentation for IT procedures, system configurations, and project statuses, ensuring accurate and current information.
• Participate in vendor and partner discussions, assisting in the negotiation of contracts and management of relationships.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in IT and gaming technology, suggesting improvements and innovations to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, with further certification in IT management or gaming technology seen as an advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in an IT role, with specific experience in gaming systems or the entertainment industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network administration, and system security principles.
• Experience in managing IT projects, with the ability to coordinate teams and resources effectively.
• Familiarity with gaming technologies, software, and platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with teams across the organization and with external vendors.
• Proficiency in English, with any additional languages being a plus.
