Purchasing Supervisor

- Consolidate and analyze the purchasing needs of departments/divisions, based on inventory levels, to develop purchasing plans.

- Seek out, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure a competitive advantage for the Company, always ensuring that there are 3 suppliers who have been evaluated and are available in the supplier list.

- Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers in accordance with Company regulations (price, delivery terms, etc.).

- Submit proposals for supplier selection (quotes, supplier evaluations).

- Monitor and control orders and contracts from signing to delivery to the using department, resolve any issues that arise such as quality, delivery time, etc.

- Receive goods into the warehouse, control the quantity and quality of goods received according to the contract.

- Monitor, control and summarize purchasing contracts. Manage accounts payable and process payments to suppliers (amount, deadline and payment progress).

- Follow up on feedback from departments/divisions on product quality and provide feedback to suppliers.

- Responsible for storing and securing all information related to goods, prices, suppliers, and manufacturers.

- Update information related to Suppliers: capacity, products, delivery time, after-sales service, payment methods, development potential ... to be able to choose the right Supplier at all times.

- Perform other tasks as assigned and requested by superiors.

Two years similar experience

Strong organization skills, multi-task oriented and good time management

Good problem-solving abilities

Proficient with the use of computer packages such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experience in implementing sustainable and socially responsible procurement practices.

Strong skills in budgeting, cost optimisation and negotiation techniques.

Knowledge of vendor management and inventory management systems.
