Head Chef (Thai cuisine)

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Thai kitchen for lunch and dinner service at Soi, ensuring the delivery of authentic Thai cuisine infused with modern techniques and presentation.
• Develop a dynamic, contemporary Thai menu that balances traditional flavors with innovative culinary approaches.
• Ensure the highest levels of consistency and quality in food preparation, taste, and presentation.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other culinary teams to ensure smooth and cohesive kitchen operations across all outlets.
• Maintain cost controls, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lead, train, and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and creative kitchen environment.
• Engage with suppliers to source premium ingredients, staying up-to-date with trends in Thai cuisine and modern cooking techniques.
• Respond to guest feedback and adjust offerings as needed to enhance the dining experience.

• Have a deep passion for authentic Thai cuisine and a flair for modern culinary innovation.
  
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Thai kitchen, with at least 2 years in a leadership position (Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef).
• Experience working in Vietnam or currently residing in Vietnam is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate kitchen staff.
• Expertise in traditional Thai cooking techniques combined with a modern approach to plating and flavor innovation.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational abilities, with experience managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
