Assist the Banquet Manager in overseeing and coordinating all banquet operations, including planning, setup, service, and breakdown of all events. Ensure high service standards, efficient operations, and customer satisfaction for all banquet functions such as weddings, corporate meetings, and special events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily banquet operations, ensuring events are executed according to standards.
- Support in managing banquet staff: scheduling, training, performance monitoring, and motivating team members.
- Work closely with the Events/Sales team to understand client requirements and ensure flawless execution of events.
- Oversee banquet setup, food and beverage service, and cleanliness to meet hotel standards.
- Handle guest requests and resolve any complaints or service issues promptly during events.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory of banquet equipment and supplies; coordinate with relevant departments for replenishment or maintenance.
- Assist in cost control and revenue generation by maximizing service efficiency and minimizing waste.
- Prepare post-event reports and provide feedback to improve service quality.
- Serve as acting Banquet Manager in his/her absence.

Yêu cầu công việc
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in banquet operations or F&B supervisory roles in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving and guest-handling abilities.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus.
- Flexibility to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Good knowledge of event planning, banquet service procedures, and setup logistics.
