Purchasing Officer/Nhân viên Thu mua

• To assist the Purchasing Manager in ensuring that there is a proper follow-up of the orders after they have been placed and to see that the goods are delivered to the Hotel’s needs

• To assist the Purchasing Manager to establish the database of hotel’s suppliers by executing contracts and key in database into Purchasing and Finance system

• To assist the Purchasing Manager to create all the new item articles into Purchasing and Finance system

• To assist the Purchasing Manager to receive the Operating supplies and Equipment (OS&E)

• To review purchase requisition considering issues such as pricing, lead time, quantity discounts and bring the matter to the attention of the Purchasing Manager who will take appropriate step to expedite matters, if should delays occur

• To assist departments in the hotel in formulating their material requirements and to use competitive bidding or other approved procedures to obtain the best price

• To keep track of all pending purchase requisitions to ensure goods are delivered on time

• Coordinate with related departments on receiving, exchanging, compensating and returning of purchased items

• Performing other duties and responsibilities as required by Finance department

• Hospitality graduated or related field with similar experience in international 4-5 star hotels is preferable

• Proficiency in English communication

• Problem solving, good organizational & multitasking abilities

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

• Good knowledge of market price research
