Plumber

Primary Responsibilities

• Able to maintain, fault find, and repair rides piping system, pool filtration systems, chemical dosing systems, cooling systems (cold/hot water), pumps, calorifiers, pressurization vessels, and valves

• Install and maintain fixtures and other appliances associated with heating, cooling, and sanitation systems

• Able to cut, weld, and assemble pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures

• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance of plumbing works in the waterpark

• Maintain work tools in good condition

• Able to perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently

• Able to provide technical direction and on-the-job training

• Maintain daily logs and records while on duty, paper and electronic

• Keep a correct inventory and write purchase order requests for items needed

• Participate in the on-call program and respond both by phone and in person as appropriate

• Report all potential hazards, safety concerns, and accidents immediately

• Ensure effective communication and good relations between the engineering department and other departments in the water park

• Comply with Health and Safety Regulations

OTHER DUTIES

• Perform duties outside the scope of the position in case of emergency, when called upon.

• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

• Responsible for complying with relevant OH&S, EEO, Rehabilitation and Environmental legislation & policies.

• Taking care of themselves and others.

• Co-operating with ACCOR instructions including local rules, procedures & training.

• Not interfering with or misusing safety equipment.

• Reporting all hazardous situations to management.

Main Complexity/Critical issues in the Job

• Design, implement progress and schedule control systems for the project according to set requirements.

• Ensure all works carried out meet company's quality standards and requirements.

• Co-ordinate with clients, sub-contractors and consultants on all project matters.

• Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures at site.

Knowledge and Experience

• Degree in mechanical and electrical engineering

• 1 years in industry experience in a similar role

• Experience in similar size/style of hotel 4*, 5* resort/business

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Ability to find fault and rectify subsystems are essentials.
