TECHNICIAN (POOL)

• Responsible for the maintenance of pools (villa pools and public pools).
• Report to work at the scheduled time, well-groomed and in the correct uniform. 
• Clean the pool off sand and algae. 
• Maintain all pools, ensuring proper chemical use. 
• Clean all the around pool pump room. 
• Clean the filter often and make sure all pump, chlorinators, timer, sub immersible pump work properly. 
• Remove dead leaves fallen into the pool. 
• Assist other Engineering staff as required. 
• Report daily any defects or major repairs required pools to the Assistant Engineer Manager. 
• In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager. 
• Ensure safety at work.
• Recommend, advise special tools ensure the implementation of the assigned work quickly, safely and efficiently.
• Be responsible for products, machines and product surfaces to ensure quality and technical requirements.
• Reads the hotel's Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotelt's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
• Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
• Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience pool care in the hospitality industry.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Basic English communication skills preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure, respond to emergencies, and handle multiple tasks.
• Team player with a positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
