TASKS OVERVIEWING

• Being responsible for all daily activities of the resort's Security, Lifeguard and Recreation Departments.

• Participating directly in organizing plans, operating department’s tasks.

• Checking Duty Roster, supervising Security, Lifeguard and Recreation team’s activities.

TASKS CLARIFYING

Security Management:

• Planning, developing, coordinating, implementing and managing resort’s infrastructure and facilities.

• Being responsible for the safety and security of guests and staffs and other demands.

• Being responsible for solving all unusual problems of guests or staffs such as disturbance, theft, death, bomb threat, fire or safety and security, robbery…

• Reporting the shortage of resort’s property and the dangerous situations of safety and security to Human Resources Manager.

• Taking actions to reduce the risk of the dangerous cases immediately.

• Implementing the security and emergency case procedures.

• Establishing and proficiently using the procedures of property safety, first – aid, fire in the emergency cases and using equipment safely and reasonably.

• Implementing safety and security training programs and ensuring that all the procedures and policies are disseminated to staffs effectively.

• Cooperating with Chief Engineer in controlling the lock and key system in resort.

• Managing and controlling security camera system, firefighting system; cooperating with related departments to coach their staffs in firefighting and preventions at working places.

• Participating in building department’s annual budget and expense.

• Making sure to check the control panel, fire hoses, water spray system and all safety equipment and ensuring that they are in good work condition; reporting the damaged tools to the superior if any.

• Conducting periodic lockers inspections with Human Resources Department.

• Taking actions to respond to emergency situations and notifying the superiors of potential harms.

• Maintaining professional appearance while attending or communicating with the government agencies such as police, firefighting and prevention police, …

• Maintaining the supervision during the working hours in guest areas and all other work areas.

• Maintaining the regular supervision of the camera system and informing all staffs about the patrol of any unusual incidents occurring.

• Making minutes of troubles and security incidents based on resort’s regulations.

Lifeguard & Recreation Management:

• Lifeguard Operations: Oversee all lifeguard operations at the resort's pools, beaches, and water-based recreational areas. Ensure all lifeguards are properly certified, trained, and equipped.

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce all pool and beach safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections of all aquatic facilities and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards. Maintain accurate records of water quality tests and equipment maintenance.

• Team Supervision: Manage the lifeguard and recreation staff. Create and manage schedules, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing training in CPR, first aid, and rescue techniques.

• Recreational Programming: Develop and coordinate a diverse range of recreational activities for resort guests (e.g., water sports, fitness classes, kids' club activities, beach games).

• Guest Experience: Ensure a positive and safe recreational environment for all guests. Actively engage with guests, answer questions, and assist with recreation activities. Resolve any guest issues or complaints related to recreation in a professional and timely manner.

• Equipment Management: Oversee the inventory and maintenance of all recreational equipment, including water sports gear, sports equipment, and fitness center apparatus. Ensure all equipment is in good working order and a log is maintained for safety checks and repairs.

• Evaluating annual performance of all levels under responsibility; setting goals and making sure that evaluation is conducted absolutely.

• Planning training programs in collaboration with management levels under responsibility.

• Ensuring Duty Roster is arranged suitably with resort’s occupancy forecasts.

• Setting Duty Roster/ Worksheet with productivity which is appropriate with budget for department including both breaks and holidays.

• Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Yes I Can! Experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.

• Participating training courses and meetings as demanded.

• Graduating from college and higher.

• Having degrees and certificates related to the profession: firefighting and prevention, first – aid, …

• Other water related certifications are an advantage.

• Having at least 03 years working experience as the same position in 4 – 5 stars hotel/ resort.

• Being perfect in leadership, proactive and an extrovert.

• Being fluent in English; being able to using other language.

• Knowing well about safety and security, firefighting and prevention, crisis handling process.

• In-depth knowledge of lifeguard and aquatic safety protocols.

• A commitment to providing exceptional guest service while maintaining a high level of security.

• Being good at managing.

• Being good at communicating and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.

• Having high team spirit.

• Being able to work independently under high pressure.

• Arranging work and coordinating with colleagues well.
