Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

 JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist the F&B Manager in overseeing daily operations of all restaurants, bars, and banquet services.
• Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, service, and other departments to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Supervise, train, and motivate the F&B team to maintain service quality and brand standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, handle feedback, and resolve service issues effectively.
• Control inventory, manage costs, and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Support the implementation of promotions, events, and F&B concepts to maximize revenue.
• Ensure hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards are strictly followed.
• Act on behalf of the F&B Manager in his/her absence.

 Pre-Opening / Set-up Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, and banqueting facilities.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of F&B team members.
• Participate in menu planning, pricing, and preparation of service SOPs.
• Assist in arranging equipment, operating supplies, and outlet layouts.

• At least 3- 5 years of experience in a supervisory/assistant managerial role in Food & Beverage in an international hotel or resort.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
• Excellent guest service mindset and ability to handle complaints professionally.
• Good financial awareness and knowledge of cost control.
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken). Additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
