Position Summary:
The Sommelier is responsible for curating and managing the wine program, providing expert wine service, and enhancing the dining experience through thoughtful wine pairings and recommendations. This role involves maintaining the wine cellar, training staff on wine knowledge, and ensuring that guests enjoy an exceptional food and wine journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curate and manage the restaurant’s wine list and cellar, ensuring quality and consistency
- Recommend and serve wines to guests, providing expert pairing suggestions with menu items
- Train and support service staff in wine knowledge and service techniques
- Monitor wine inventory, handle orders, and work with suppliers to maintain stock levels
- Stay updated on wine trends, regions, and vintages to continuously enhance the wine program

Yêu cầu công việc
- Certified in WSET Level 2 or higher
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sommelier in fine dining restaurants or luxury hotels
- Strong wine knowledge, including regions, varietals, and food pairing principles.
- Good communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to communicate in English is required
